From Mike: About the Song

This song has a lot of meaning for us. Rachel has been singing Breathe for years after hearing the Harvard Opportunes' beautiful arrangement of it. When we were living on opposite sides of the country, she recorded an a capella version of herself singing it to me as a Valentine's Day gift. I then remixed it as a dance track without her knowledge and sent it back to her as a gift of my own.

Though we have performed together in the past, this is our first recording and production collaboration. We recorded it at our San Francisco home, an industrial loft in a building that used to be a bottling factory.
